"She must be one of the fastest Cannock Chases there is around. She got her hat-trick up at Ripon last week and it's never easy to win three on the bounce. The ground was plenty tight enough there and it was just because she was in sugood form with herself that we got away with it. When Graham Lee won on her at Thirsk a couple of years ago, we thought she was going to be an 80-plus horse, but last year she underperformed all season. She was never right and we gave her a wind op over the winter. The way she was galloping, I thought she'd win first time up but she didn't. We then upped her to 7f and she ran a little bit better, but as soon as we put a bit of headgear on she was a different mare. She didn't cost a lot of money and she's paid for herself several times over. She's straightforward and easy to train, and there's more to come as on her old marks there's still a bit of wiggle room. "She is a lightly raced filly who has done precious little wrong in her four career starts. First time out she was caught out by inexperience, but she made up for that on her seasonal return at Thirsk in a 5f maiden. She then came second in a handicap at Nottingham where she hit every undulating piece of the course and still ran well to be beaten just three-quarters of a length. She has only run on soft and is better when getting her toe in, but it's not essential. She is a progressive type. 10-05-23"

Joined Tim Easterby before a good second at Catterick on last spring's reappearance and went on to win two 6f handicaps at that track in August/September; he will need to be cherry ripe to defy this mark on his return though and the blinkers worn to victory are now replaced with cheekpieces.

"We ended up with her because we've got her full brother, Curious Rover, who we've done well with. We picked him up at the sales and got her home and got her going. She's not been the easiest - she is a bit of a madam so it took a good few runs before we got a win on the board, at Redcar in June. I think we've probably got the key to her now though, and her second on her latest start at Ayr was probably a better run than her win. We're looking forward to her next run. She's entered up at Nottingham on Friday and she might also get an entry at Redcar on Sunday and we'll see which one looks the easier. 17-07-25"
