Comment
Last-time winner and a second two starts back suggest he's in good heart, and a nine-day turnaround keeps him fresh, but carrying 144 lb off 76 is a big ask, and he ranks last of six on our figures at 74, so he's hard to fancy.

Comment
Fresh from a second last time out just nine days ago, Captain Connor has also been a fourth two starts back and a third three starts back, and he has run over today's trip and going before. Winless in his last six, he carries 143 lb, but his consistency makes him our pick.

Comment
Trigger The Light is a leading danger, having finished fourth last time out and third two starts back, and he has run on today's going before. The 28-day break looks fine, but he is yet to win in his last four starts and carries 168 lb off 100, which is the main risk.

Comment
East Eagle was third last time out and a winner two starts back, with 34 days since that run and experience of both today's trip and the going, so he looks a leading danger. The main risk is the 161 lb on his back, off an official mark of 93.

Comment
Bashful Boy is yet to win in his last four starts but showed his hand with a third three starts back, and he has run on today's going before. Our rating of 92 puts him top of the six, though a fifth last time and 36 days off leave the main risk that he's still short of his best under 152 lb.
